...the past few weeks have been quite wet. We have had over 6-7 inches of rain.
So, today we were able to till the front lawn area and plant bermuda seed. With some sunshine and a little hand watering we should have grass spouts soon. We are working on the northside flowerbed and are looking for all the right plants, I have camilla roses, hydrangeas, hostas, irises, and a few more. The southside flower bed will be my herb garden; I have lavender, rosemary, basil, lemon balm, and spearmint to plant. My husband and designed a neat parking area for the cottage. He used authentic railroad switch ties (longer than regular railroad ties) with real train track at the front. We have a T & P railroad crossing sign and a whistle sign to install soon. I'll take some pictures and post them soon.
